I'm a freelance food, wine and spirits writer and news geek, who has contributed to national and regional print publications and online new sites including Arlington Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, Washingtonian, Washington City Paper, The Food Network, The Washington Post, NPR, USA TODAY, Maine Magazine and others.

I am a proud Maine native and graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, and live in Northern Virginia with my family.

I love Boston sports teams, avidly fundraise for the National MS Society and grow a tiny garden to fuel a cucumber and tomato obsession, As an association executive, I am an active member of ASAE. As a mother to two public school students, I also volunteer for the Belvedere ES PTA and serve on the Title 1 committee for Fairfax County Public Schools.
